I believe it will, but the pully is different and it uses different upper arms.

My Qa42A was set up for a 82 tractor.

Here are what the arms look like. Mine where modified and had notches in them.

I don't have the bent arms, the ones I have are the white ones with the notches.

I said mine was setup for a '86 model because when I bought it, it had a 5/8 pulley on it. I needed a 3/8 for mine.
