I lived in those parts for 10ish years. Couldn't stand it. It's more common than you think.

I used to have a boss who said you reduced the chance of being told no by 50% by asking.

That Haun would be an interesting piece if it could be bought for a fair price.

I would buy it in a minute at a fair price. What do you consider a fair price?
Also what the heck does a "professional" mechanic know about the value of anything?

I honestly don't know. I assume it would have been at a golf course in the past and I know little about the value of that equipment.
Based on the add I am not sure if its aa runner od dead. Off the top of my head I would offer scrap price?
Then if it was worse than I expected it would still be worth the price.
