I picked up a AC 410 a couple weeks ago and i have finally started to work on it. All around it is in pretty good shape. My plans are to get it in to working order and use it. It came with a mower deck and snow blade. I know the engine turns over, the previous owner said that it was not not getting fuel. So far i have only cleaned a mouse house out of the engine covers. I should have time today to see if i can get it cranking. Their is also a crack in the top of the gas tank. I should be able to plastic weld it. I also need new front tires or maybe tubes.
Here are some pics of it. I can't wait to get it going and see what it can do.
Thanks for looking

I got a little bit of work done today. I fixed my cracked gas tank. It does not look the best. I also cleaned the crab and found that the float bowl has a couple small holes and i need a new main fuel adjustment screw. I also changed my gear box oil. I did get the engine cranking, but i am worried about the compression it seems low. I should have a compression tester by then end of the week. I also need new front tires and a new choke cable. I still need to replace the fuel line and test the fuel pump. Over all it should not be that much work.

Looks good. I just got rid of my 410. They are good tractors.

I have started to order parts for the 410. I need a choke cable, float bowl, and a main fuel adjustment needle. So far i have ordered the coke cable and found the float bowl. Except I can not find a new main fuel needle. I know i have a Walbro carb #52 and that the part number for the needle is 200442, but I have searched around and cant seem to find anything. Does anyone know a good source for Walbro carb parts?
Or a different needle that will work?
Thanks for you help

I went to an auction the other day and i happened to see a K series engine. The engine cover says its a k241 but on the casting it say k301. I probably paid to much for it. I took the carb off it today to see if i could use it. The throttle is stuck and will not move. I have it soaking in some PB right now to see if it will free up. I dont know if it will or not. The rest of the engine appears to be in decent shape. The engine turns over with what feels like good compression. The gas tank is destroyed. Looks like someone dropped something right on it. I will post some pictures of it to see what you guys think. If i cant use the carb off it i will probably sell it and get some money back. I still have not had any luck yet trying to find the fuel needle for my other carb. I am still looking. hopefully i can find one out there.

What engine do you have? Did you try a complete carb rebuilding kit from NAPA? They usually include everything but a new float. Prices vary from $18 to $25 and only take two days to get from Boston. I've used them for B&S and Wisconsons 4 times this year. I'll do 4 kohlers this winter. I'd save that spare kohler engine for now. The tank may be repairable.
