Those are are amazing prices paid for GT's and equipment!
But, being here in Indiana, he will probably be TAXED to the hilt on this sale.

Wouldn't happen to have been by Polks or McGrew's. They do a lot of antique sales and what-not.

It was a collection in Rochester, IN. The guys name is Horn. I wanted to go to that one but ended up staying home with sick kids today. Sounds like I couldn't have afforded anything anyway!

WOW! I am stunned at those prices! The polk auction headquarters is only about 30 minutes from my house. I saw this auction a few months back and was thinking about going but never made it. Those tractors must have been REALLY nice to go for those prices! Thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately, all that does is drive up prices for the rest of us. I can see it now: for sale: slightly used (insert name) GT, could be nice, three flat tires, missing one wheel, broken transmission, no motor or seat, steering wheel bent, frame cracked, some body panels missing, everything else is there and complete, rare and restorable $1500.

Thanks for the link

Wow Josh, there were a lot of great items at that auction. Some went pretty reasonably, others got a real good price. I really liked the number four John Deere Bell, but not for $48,000 dollars.

I could no believe the bell price! The prices have been going up on gt's alot in the past couple years.I do feel some of the prices on some jd gt stuff went pretty high. The oliver stuff was a little high. But close to market value.Weather we like it or not the prices are going up.
