Well, heres what if I could find as far as the engine numbers go.
The engine with a Craftsman recoil starter had a stamped metal tag screwed to the block with the numbers 143-645012 and another set of numbers 41130 below those.
The Tecumseh engine had numbers 190 80 and another set 19-0-116 [the 116 was circled with a 'D' over the 116 and a .11 under the 116. These numbers were stamped on the engine block.

Well, I don't know anything about Tecumseh engines really as far as their numbers system goes. The engines do have a distinctly different number system. Both engines have the same carburetor. The Tecumseh motor is bigger in size to the engine with craftsman on it.
Well, now I'm going to go find these motors online somewhere and see what I find.

Found 143.645012 in the Tecumseh service manual. It is a HS50-67037A.

The parts list will come up at Sears using the 143.645012.

Excellent! I've searching for the other engine numbers but I can't find anything on it. I'm thinking there has to be more numbers somewhere Because I don't see any number combo that is remotely like that in the Tecumseh engine list. Thanks for info Garry.
