I'd say its worth whatever you can talk them down to..... :bigrofl: , found at work???? wish I found that kinda stuff laying around my work. Sitting there like that I would imagine it has long been forgotten or the owner plans to junk it and hasn't gotten around to it. They'd prob let it go pretty easily (sometimes free) just so that they don't have to do the work themselves, I've gotten a couple that way....good luck, let us know how it turns out.

I paid $150 for mine, it was about the same shape. Missing some parts and no weights or deck.
But things are expensive up here in New England.
My brother bought a complete one with a vacuum system, deck and a trailer for $700.

Runs now? Doesn't look to have run for years. The phrase "ran fine when we parked it" has no bearing at all unless YOU heard it run. I'd not go over $150 in it's condition. The weights are worth almost that for what they have been bringing lately, so they make it a risk free gamble.

It takes a LONG time to sink that far into the mud. Have you heard it run?

Lots of things can be wrong with, motor and hydro are the biggies. Neither cheap to fix. $150 would be my max too.

Looks like a 1975 C-160 8-speed model 1-0381.

Doesn't look like it's worth much.$100-$125 tops.

On the other hand, that K341 is highly desireable. The carb is worth money. The trans is a good one. It's sure worth checking into. The C 160 is my personal favorite.

I agree that it's a desirable unit. That said, it seems to be pretty rough. Things that factor in would be: Is the tranny free? Does it shift easily, both the gears and the hi-lo shifter. Make sure it run NOW. Check the condition of the tires / wheels. Does the steering work? The brake is either way out of adjustment, badly worn, or stuck in the on position. There's no deck..they're expensive in good condition. It also looks like the seat is pretty rough...they're expensive too, if you can find one. I hope that you can get it fairly cheap. It would be a great project! Make an offer or ask for a price, either way it's a place to start. Keep us posted!

Good luck with the negotiations. Already there have been high points in any salvage. If it runs, even better. I would listen to the advice already given and max your offer around 150. Keep us posted.

It ran a year ago. It is a 13 fin K341! It has a mower that is free and has no holes in it. I'll see if i can can get it.

The weights on those are selling for about 150 and the c160 is a very desireable tractor. If it does run I would think you could go 200-225 on it. Maybe a little more. ~Jake

If you want to recoup some of your money I would be more than happy to buy those weights off of ya!

Not a horrible tractor, but it needs some TLC for sure......let us know how it works out for you.
