Not done anything but look at it.  I do need to at least hack at it now & then.  Just a few minutes every once in a while and it could be finished.

Spent just a little while today just looking up parts I've lost track of.  Found all my cables.  Found the stainless dash piece (needs polishing), and I ordered a new starter push switch....same as Farmall farm tractors use.  Just $9.30 to my door.

It's not much progress, but enough for a pic.  I got the dash works in.  My ID plate had no paint left on it, so I'm gonna try something for it to bring it back to life.  The new starter button assembly was just $9.30 to my door.  It's identical to what is used on the old Farmall tractors.  The seller has more if you guys want/need one....HERE

Daniel I have once pretty faded as well- any chance a decal could be made for the serial plate? Looking good!

I am going to try printing onto the slide off type material, similar to model cars, "water transfer" I think it's called.  I'll sure let you know/see how it turns out, but may be a while.  I removed what little black paint that was on my plate, just leaving the stamped model & serial numbers.  I'm gonna try printing black on clear transfer material, leaving the space open for the numbers to show through.  It may end a disaster, but I want to try.

Unfortunately, my vinyl cutter cannot do text that small & come out anywhere near decent.

Tinkered on the V4-6 this evening.  Got the engine sitting in the chassis, just need to tighten the bolts.  Now I have to find where I put the dang engine pulley & belt guide!  NO IDEA where I put them.  :wallbanging:   Got several little pieces on tonight, but still a lot to do before the Bush Hog Reunion at Plow Day.

Probably not where you put them.  Didn't you say your son cleaned up a while back?

No, he didn't do anything in my old personal shop.  The mess I made in there is still there.  But good news...I just found both the pulley and the belt guide.     Well, the belt guide is just a crude one I made up, but I can make it nicer, and much easier than starting from scratch.

Glad you found them! I have some things around here that if I go to put them back together, I'll be studying a manual for a couple days first!

Teresa is picking me up another V-belt in town.  Had to cut an old one to fit on so I could determine length needed.  Hope the 49 she got fits, as they were out of 50" 1/2" belts.  I figure one or the other will do the job.

Today I got the throttle & choke cables cut to length & attached.  Finished the thumb push button mechanism for the vari-drive.

Then I needed to till the garden, so that's all the V4-6 time for today.  Feeding/milking time soon.

Here's where she sits right now.  I should finish her by the Bush Hog Reunion/Plow Day.
