Since Ken started a handgun thread, there were many responses. Some members liked to show rifles and shotguns. I figure we should have a thread to show these off too. Here goes.

This is my Ruger take down I got for the canoe. It has a side kick of a Smith Wesson model 63 that goes nicely in the Ruger Bag. It's a nice combo. The Ruger returns to zero after it's taken apart. Ruger did a nice job on this one.

Love that Stevens! I have a weakness for single shot rifles. My wish (Yeah, right!) is the Browning Falling Block w/ an octogon barrel.

Yeah! Excellent survival rifle. That was made back when nice wood was still important, too!

Would you believe that stock is plastic? Early Bakelite, I think. Looks great, walnut looking grain and swirls in it... I initially thought it was just a nice looking stock. Imagine my surprise when first put my hands on it.

What?? Plastic???!!! Of this vintage? :dancingbanana: SOLD!

The stock is hollow, with a screw - in plug, I presume to carry a cleaning kit or the like.

And she shoots just straight as can be, time after time, an excellent barrel.I

I have two Winchester mod. 67. One which is pretty rough was my grandfather's, then my dad's, now mine. I have another 67A, that I use for plinking. I just bought a leather military sling from eBay for it. If this thread is still going when I get it installed, I'll take a pic.

I had to look that one up. I think that 67A is what I learned on as a youth in YMCA camp.

Here's my new -to-me 22 Mag Marlin MN. I haven't had a Varmint gun for a long while. I haven't been able to ID the year, but
its in super shape. 4x32 Barska scope, and the action is crisp. I'm anxious to try it out.PC170125.JPG PC170124.JPG

Nice looking Marlin.

Here is my Beretta AL390. I was hunting ruffed grouse with it this last week at camp.
