Hi guys!
I just picked up a Bolens walk behind with a plow set up. Has the briggs model NPR6 on it, looks to be original, however it doesn't have a spark plug. Would you happen to know the model SP I need? NGK? Thanks!

The original probably would have been a Champion J8. Not sure if you can still get them or not but most small engine plugs are the equivalent.

Original I am not worried about as I am not restoring it. I just want to get it running again. I've read that the NGK B6S is the same, can anyone confirm? Thanks

BUT... With the original number and a little cross reference you can find any brand number you want. The modern equivalent to the J8 is the CJ8Y. In the list below, the first 2 numbers are NGK. Like I said, any small engine plug would work. This list was all one line on the chart. At the very end are the dimensions.

I understand and thank you for the info. I am an NGK dealer, so figured that would be easier to locate.

Got the spark plug in, and now no spark.
