Decided to fire up the old Polaris , and take it for a spin.

So how did it do? Did ya have fun? I would love to have a sled but we don't get enough snow to justify it except maybe once every seven years like this year LOL.

It started up in 5 pulls. I took it for a nice slow ride around the house.
I dont like to go too fast LOL Its in pretty good shape for its age. That track is the original metal cleated one it came with.

Looks like a whole mess of fun! This is a good year to have a sled but normaly we don't get enough snow to justify owning one.

Are parts still available for that thing?

I have never replaced any part on that machine except the spark plugs. :D
I looked a little on line and it looks like they still have parts. They are surprisingly not that expensive.

If I won the lottery I would buy the Bolens diablo rouge sled. Those things look cool.

WOW! I realize this is an old thread but, that sure brings back a few memories. I think that may have been the last snowmobile that I rode about 30 years ago. Where did all that time go???
