To me it looked to good to slaughter thats why I bought it. But you guys have seen as much as I have and All I know is its not seized. I will make the decision in a week or so when I see it for real.John

That Chestor Hudson guy, probably has engine parts if needed, John.
I looked at his site. He's got a pile of goodies there.

Congrats on another ELF GAV! Looks very festive in it's green outfit. Maybe you could spin some garland and ornaments on it and use it for your Christmas tree!

Now that's an idea, the wife has already dropped a few hints about buying our Christmas tree and there was me thinking Christmas wasn't until the end of next month!

Males have exposed rear pto shafts, females have internal splined rear pto. :smilewink:

At least you don't have to flip them over to check like cats.

A bit off topic, but being the conversation was on this track, I thought I'd bring
this up.
I saw, on Duck Dynasty, last night, how to tell the difference between a male and female Crawfish.
Apparently the male has a wee wee, and the female has a vagina of sorts.
Can any of you Southern Boys, shed some light on that? We don't have many of them up here, and
when we do catch one, we eat it before we take the time to check it out.

Update.

I've got almost everything sandblasted and primed now, and I'm starting to get some colour
back on things.

Yes, yellow, from Massey dealer. When dismantling, I compared a few parts, that never saw daylight, to the
yellow I used on the Execs. Looked the same to me, which makes sense, as that was the paint of the day for
Massey back then. I don't have the MF part# handy. It does say industrial yellow on it, but I think they have
3 or 4 versions with that description.
