Hey Wil, that's kinda cool sounding.  Don't let Elf get too horny now.

Well after hours of searching the net and emailing people all over Europe I eventually tracked down the illusive rear decal, 50 yards away in my shed on the back of the Green Elf, DOH  :wallbanging:

Rear Decal.jpg

I was measuring some bits using a torch (Flashlight to you guys on the other side of the pond) and through the thick green paint I saw the outline of a letter F. An hour later using scotchbrite and thinners and hey presto.

That sure looks nice.

I have never seen this model of tractor before.

They look like they were built very sturdy.

GOOD JOB !

Way to go John. Well, now we finally know. I bet you felt a bit like Howard Carter.

Timing couldn't have been better. I was about to stick one

of the MF 3 triangle logos on there, in a day or 2.

Looks like foil, with black print on it?

I have never measured with a torch before. Wouldn't a tape measure or a ruler be easier on both you and the tractor??????? :D

Felt more like a neep, Howard Carter didnt spend months looking for a Tomb he already had! Tut Tut

Yes foil with black border around letters and yellow background to match paint colour, think mine will be a clear background.

Update

Late last week, I put Elf back up on the horses. The last of the parts I'd

been waiting for had arrived.

The OE throttle, but I had to mount it in a different location, due to the action

required by the Briggs carb.

Also installed the horn.

P1010557.JPG

Regulators, fuse block, Low voltage sensor, and LVS warning light.

P1010555.JPG

And, the finishing touches. Decals. :dancingbanana: Finally!!

Now it's time to collect/build attachments.
