When I saw the tires where on, I wondered how long you would take before taking a spin! I am glad to hear everything is working.

That's it, that's all the longer it took to restore it.... now I am depressed about my projects lol.

Great work Will, it really came together in a quality fashion. Your restorations are above showroom quality. Thank you for sharing ELF and his restoration with us. Good news is we have the hood to look forward to. :D

Oh heck, what to do?
Thanks for the invites, and being willing to let me play with your tractors.

Daniel, Cassey, I'll get there, if I can escape the beer gauntlet.

Will to save your time, I will just transport all my projects to MH81's place. And maybe Caseguy can bring some of his projects there to. I am sure Buzz and Daniel can wait. :poke: :poke:  I just found you guys thread, what a way to bring in the new year!

Simply stunning!  Not sure if you still plan to replace that steering wheel, but I have to say, seeing it all together, I think it looks perfect!  Almost as a German "Old World" feel that just seems to fit perfect if you ask me.  Personally, I would never swap that out!  Although, I do think the tri-ribs would look better on the front myself.  The tractor just has such a "worker" look to it, and the brawn to back it up. But the slicks has that "5hp ride on mower" feel to them.

Again, the Elf is simply stunning!  Happy New Year!

Way to go, Will. That looks awesome! If you put ski's on it, might it be an ELFski?

She did good, except for the high speed cornering in the snow, with those slicks

on the front. That's when she tended to go straight, and I "almost" wet myself.

But I checked, and I was smiling. :D

Yeah, video, I'll have to work on that.

Looking great Will  , I wouldn't want to be that Decal guy holding you up! :poke:

You need to separate your brake pedal so you can steer with the left and right brakes. The slicks will work in your favour then, should turn on the spot. just dont fall off the side when you do it.

Funny how smiling and terror can look the same :D

Update.

I got tired of waiting for the paint to dry on the hood, and the decal guy.

So I took it for a ride.

I looked in the dictionary under "Laconic" and "succinct" and "terse" and found your picture at each one!!  Surely you have more to add? The engine didn't smoke, the clutch worked like a charm, the low gear is too slow/fast, high is too slow/fast, turns on a dime/needs 40 acres???? :poke:   No adjustments needed, I do incredible work?! :worship:

Seriously, Will, that is great!  Just want some extra details. :good_job:
