Ok, I've got 2 samples done. 1st one is with galvanized paint.
2nd one is for the festive season.

I prefer "Festive"!

Will, those grills are great. Absolutely  the Elf picture.
Now we just need one more...
No paint, put a light behind the grill, some black construction paper over it and you could do this.

No, it was yours. It was up in your attic behind some old shoes and adult magazines. Right beside your hobby horse.

Update

Besides messin around, with the grill, I've started to do some wiring.
All crimped connections are getting soldered, and heat shrinked.
It's going to be cramped back there, behind the dash, because there
is another 22 wires, the blinker relay, voltage regulator, charge indicator
light, horn button switch, cigar lighter, and a
small fuse block that have to fit in there yet. So, I'm taking my time, to get it
all layed out right, so it doesn't end up looking like a bird's nest.

Will, if it gets too tight in there leave out the voltage regulator. That'll free up tons of space. :poke:

Whatever you do, make sure the cigarette lighter makes the final cut. You know, for those windy days when the Bic just can't get 'r' done!

Not 100% sure about the lighter yet. I'm not sure if it should be there as OE, but the Execs of that time period
had them, and there is a hole in the dash there, on both mine, and John's.
I just haven't found anything to support this idea. I gotta keep digging for that.

AS far as the Grills go so far the Xmas Elf one is my favorite.

Good Stuff on the wiring that's something that has to 100% or it don't work.
