Current temp is 46F. Didn't yet see the high for the day but it was supposed to get near 50. I washed four cars today because it was so comfortable. Got to clean my car,my wife's car, our daughter's and our daughter-in-law's. All had a good coating of salt spray from the small storms that moved thru here in the last several weeks. Tomorrow we start cooling off.

That's winter in Winnipeg. We don't get as much really cold (-30 to -40) weather anymore, but we still get the -20 to -30 stuff pretty regularly.

Right here now it's -1c, light snow and there is thunder and lightning, seen 2 strikes so far tonight.
What do you call it when there is Lightning, Thunder and snow all at the same time?

Found this on our local TV's station website. Don't know how long it will remain available but has some nice pictures from all 50 sates.50 Coldest Temperatures By State - Photos - WGAL The Susquehanna Valley. If it is removed it showed the lowest temperature ever recorded in each state. My apologies to our many Canadian friends but they didn't do north of the border.

Thanks Grand... Interesting information. It's supposed to drop a few degrees below zero here, Friday night. That doesn't seem so cold now, after seeing a few of those - 30 or - 50 temps!!
