Can anyone recommend a nice (cheap and comfortable) replacement seat? Thanks.

I look for junker MTDs and Murrays I can pick up for free or real cheap. I scrap them out and keep the good stuff. I have a pretty good supply of tires, seats and engines. I lucked out and most of the bigger GT's I have bought lately have had good seats on them. Just the bare seat pan on most Gt's dont ride too bad as long as the bolts are covered.

That's true about the comfortable seat pans. They are expensive. I think the cheap geriatric ones at tsc are still close to 50$

yea tractor supply has some step prices for seats......I am a big fan of the pan style seat and I try to put them on whatever they will look good on ( usually the fender style determines that. My 1972 ST12 will be getting a new seat during its make-over this winter.....I won an old Farmall pan style off ebay for $18 with free shipping. Rusty as hell but solid and after I strip, primer, and paint it....it'll look great. Good luck to ya on getting the seat you need.
