All good here in southwestern pa. I stayed up for 7 and half hours pumping the water out of our basement every 20 mins. I think at one point I had pumped out 5 gallons of water! But me and my dad took turns pumping. He slept lastnight and I stayed up til 630 pumping then I went to bed and woekup around 230. Seen it was snowing out and the amount of water coming had stopped so we got fans running trying to dry some of the water up. Seen a good bit of roads closed because of floods. Had the scanner on lastnight and man was fayette county dispatch busy! Heard a few people were trying to be brave and cross a flooded roadway and were trapped so they had to do a few water rescues. Remember the saying people "turn around dont drown!" Glad to see everyone is ok on here with all the neighboring states. God bless!

Glug, glug, glug. I'm just keeping enough of my head above water to see and type. Just kidding. Pittsburgh is fine. Dry summer so now the rivers are just high. Just been a pain because all my east coast co-workers aren't working, so I'm working extra.

Power came back on yesterday, and internet just came on not long ago. I went into the woods today, and it is VERY wet! And some trees are down. It is so wet, I don't know when I will be able to get the rest of my firewood. Between the month long ordeal with my trailer wheels, and this I don't know how I will be able to get what I need.

Well that was loads of fun (not). Power went out Monday afternoon it just came back on at 1pm today, right after I had to do an emergency valve job on the generator.

The most important thing is everyone is safe!

It was hard not having any phones or internet and not knowing how my parents and friends were doing.

I just wanted to check in qucik, I still have alot to do right now. I'll be back on later.

I hope everyone else is safe as well!

I know, I am just going to have to work in the mud! As long as I can avoid dropping or dragging trees through the mud I should be ok.

Here is a picture of neighbor Brian. Apperantly, the storm did not affect him much... he was out mowing his lawn in the rain! The worst part... he mowed the day before! This guy mows his lawn everyday, and depending on how many drinks he has had... maybe twice a day! :bigrofl:
