Back when the Winston Cup was something everyone knew......no points for "the Chase"......I wish these days were still alive......anyway, seen this old picture of Richard Petty signing this GT and what a great look putting two items of what "used-to-be" together in the same picture.

That was a little Rugg 5hp mower that was marketed by Lowes.

Here's a link that gives the background on that pic.

I wonder how many different "racing themed" mowers there are?

I know that there was a Bolens "A. J. Foyt" model.

Does anyone know of any others?

The Wheel Horse "500 Special". Many models of Wheel Horse tractors were used at the 500 races to pull the indy cars around. The drivers even raced the tractors around the track. The "500 Special" was never used at the track but was commisioned to comemorate the race.

I race lawn mowers. There are a lot of " replicas". A buddy just finished a Smokey Yunick black & Gold #13.

I figured that there would be 'private' race themed mowers.

What I was wondering about would be ones marketed by the Mfgs. Ones like the Petty Rugg, and the Foyt Bolens.
