The 47th annual Antique Show & Demonstrations will be held at Hamilton, MO August 19-22. Downtown parade Friday evening at 6:00 pm, Parade of Power at Noon Saturday (on grounds). Featured tractor this year is Allis-Chalmers, Featured engine is Stover.

This is one of the bigger, better shows in this area, plenty of room, with something going on all day Friday & Saturday. ~~ grnspot110

He may end up with something red...after all, he must be getting tired of green, being he didn't paint his JD "Truckster" green!:D :smilewink:
Hope you have a grand ole time at the show....and safe travels!

You've heard the quote it rained on my parade, it did!!! Started raining mid-afternoon Friday, quit by time to go in for the downtown parade (about a mile from the show grounds). Before the parade started, the rains came again. :wallbanging: All the way through the parade. Got kinda' muddy until md-day yesterday, then turned out pretty decent.

Around 75 farm tractors, a dozen or so L&G's, 8-10 steamers, plus assorted small engines & other equipment. Over all, as usual, a pretty good show!

That mud reminds me of a show we (The French Creek Valley Antique Equipment Club, or FCVAEC in Northwest PA) had several years ago. We still had a ton of fun and one of the best turnouts ever. Thanks for posting the pics!

Some idiot came in there in a 2 wheel drive Suburban and got stuck right in the middle of the road!! It happened just past the porta-Potty in the last picture. [post #8] However, once I unloaded the two garden tractors off the back of my Trailer, it put enough weight on my drive tires, and I was able to drive right out. :-)

YOU weren't the only one to get stuck there! It happened all morning, everything from golf carts to dually's. the mud was only an inch or two deep, but the slickest mess you ever saw.

And remember, I didn't bring it up, you did!!!!! :D :bounce:
