I watched my neighbor struggle with a leaf shredder for a few years. Pretty inefficient way of handling leaves if you ask me and a lot of work. My Snapper mower used to make 5 times as much leaves disappear right into the lawn as that shredder could process and still he had to move the shreds to "someplace"... Maybe for a single 5' red maple they're OK, but I'm thinking mower/bagger or mulch in place for all the trees we have.
