Can anyone tell me how rare these carts are? I've been restoring lawn tractors for 25 yrs and don't recall seeing one before.I picked one up a few weeks ago in really nice shape.See pics.If any of you Ford guys like er let me know.I live in Delaware and hurricane Sandy is getting ready to slam us good so if you don't hear from me for awhile you'll know our power is still out,but hopefully i'll be back on line as soon as possible.Ford.jpg Ford2.jpg Ford3.jpg

That cart is nice.
I have seen MANY garden carts that look exactlly like that.....There are RED, YELLOW, GREEN and BLUE ones. The different colors are associated with that color of GT ie: Blue is FORD, Green is JD, Yellow is Allis Chalmers, Red is IH or WH....Unless one of these colored trailers has a tag that has a model number that can be "matched-up" to a specific brand, I think a tagless trailer can be painted any color to match and GT brand.
What I think, somemanufacture made ALL the trailers (and plows, and cultivators....etc.) and tagged them for specific brands....The BIG tractor companies do this now.
Does this make since?

Welcome to the forum! I have one of those, but yours look better than mine did. I think Casenut has one also. We have a few members up your way with Fords, maybe they might want it. I haven't seen a whole lot of them, but Fords aren't real popular compared to other brands.

The Ford Cart is rare, I believe, as I have not seen one yet. I wanted one and ended up making a clone. I will buy one if one becomes available.

There may be one at an antique/junk store in Cameron, MO. I saw it there recently, but didn't look close. Right color & had the local Ford dealer's sticker on it! ~~ Lowell

I imagine it would be, but then again it may not be! Never seen a Jacobsen cart. I have a Ford cart.
