Our Daughter sent me a Nook Tablet to see if it would work in my shop, I have an aging laptop in there now. I have it setup with wifi and I can sign into my email but when I try to sign in here all it does is drop to the bottom of the page. I can browse GTT but I just can't sign in. I'm really not familiar with the tablet's so do I need to install Tapatalk or another app?

Bill, On our Kindle Fire, I just use the WiFi and browser, and I can sign in with no problems. I'm sure I could use Tapatalk being it is an Android based OS.

Bill, touch and hold on the Sign In. It will come up with an Open/open in new/copy box. Click on open. Then you can sign in.

BTW, if the keyboard drops out on you while typing, turn the darned thing. Dunno why but it's a glicth that happens once in a while.

Thanks, I did get singed in following Alan's directions but when I try to reply and tap the reply box no keyboard. Either there is something I just don't understand or this thing is screwy!

Of all the tablets out there, the best word to describe Nook is "Screwy"

Try turning the tablet so the screen rotates into portrait mode. See if that does it.

Oh, get your glasses first.

Ha,Ha! :bigrofl:

I did try to turn it and that works but it would not tap into the reply box. That thing is to screwy for me, it will end up going on a flight across the yard. The laptop I have in there is like 11 or 12 years old, The 2 batteries I have for it are dead, dead and it is slow although it is running a later version of Ubuntu. I think I will go back to my orginial plan of getting a refurbished netbook and then put Linux on it. Thanks Guy's
