Hey all, another newbie here to this forum. After lots of looking Yesterday purchased a Bolens HT20, model 2087 equiped with all Bolens attachments; mower, blade, single-stage snowblower, rototiller and cab. Previous owner had it for 30yrs but traded it in for new big tractor. In 2002 he had engine replaced by dealer with a new 23hp. 150hrs on new motor, 1442 hrs total. Seems well maintained and started right up, so feels like a good buy - but time will tell. Wife told me it better be a good buy seeing how much time I spent searching for one!
Planning on replacing oil/trans fluids & filters this weekend so downloaded the manual from link on this site. I'm guessing I'll have more questions in time for what seems like a good group of knowledgeable folks on this fourm. My first question is the only manual I found online is for the HT-20 model 2086, anyone know what the difference is between the 2086 and 2087? Guessing minor but I'm curious. I did find seperate published parts lists for the 2086 and 2087.
Attaching some pics of my new toys!

Welcome to GTT. You have a beautiful tractor and attachment set. Try this site and download the file http://groups.yahoo....Specifications/. It seems to say that the 2086 was for 1973 and the 2087s were for 74 thru 78. Good Luck, you are off to a terrific start.

Welcome to GTTalk Erik, glad you decided to join us. Your Bolens looks to be in pretty good shape and you got a lot of goodies to go along with it. From the looks of it the PO took good care of his equipment. Sorry I can't answer you question but Doc or one of the Bolens guys will be along soon I'm sure.

First off Welcome to GT talk and very nice HT20 you have there.

There is just minor difference like the 2086 had a metal gas tank well the 2087 had a plastic gas tank.

Welcome Erik. That is a very nice package deal you picked up. It obviously was well cared for by the previous owner. Thanks for the photographs.

Glad you joined.
