I picked this up about a month ago, bought it thinking it would be for parts but I just don't have the heart to destroy it when all it needs is a list of hard to find parts that are no longer made and a lot of time and money which I have very little of and it would be just like new.

I have searched high and low but cannot find a manual for the 02 run on the 1254. Plenty of 01,03,04,05,06 but nothing on 02.

Can anyone enlighten me as to which manual will be more accurate, or if you have one you've been sitting on just waiting for the right fool I mean cusomer to sell it to. Well here I am, show yourself.

Your heart is right. That is too nice to part out. It looks like the 02 was only made for part of a year. One of my parts tractors(it was already partly stripped before I got it) has those covers over the frame tubes. Good Luck

Yes, I must agree.....I'm sure you will eventually be able to find the parts and when its complete you'll stand back and thank yourself for NOT parting it out..... :beerchug:

Glad you didnt part it out!
Its getting harder to find ones in this good of shape.

I'll take a look and see if I have a manual for the 1254-02 series.

What parts do you need?

I guess the first thing I am looking to do is get the electrical figured out. It has th tra12d with the external ignition box. I don't know if that makes a difference as to which model it is closer to 01 or 03.

Thanks Brian,
All but the one on the 1256-01 that has the single wire to the stator under the flywheel.
That being said, are they all wired the same, that is are all the external modules the same?

I believe they all used the same ignition module, but I think some models used different ignition switches which makes be believe some of the wiring may be different.
