Bolt-on foot steps tell me it is a '65 or '66.

The foot treads are welded on, so it's a '67. I can also see the line break on the serial plate between the Type Code and the Serial Number. Only '67 tags had that. The pointed hitch plate eliminates it from being a '65.

I'd say no. The tractor looks too original for someone to have ever removed the fenders.

It's not a bad price for the tractor, and if I lived closer, I'd be calling the guy. It appears that the left axle seal is leaking, the generator was replaced, and it doesn't have the correct muffler on it, but I consider those items as being cosmetic.

That would be an excellent parts machine to restore the machine my grandfather purchased... but I would feel guilty tearing it down. That is 2.5 hours from me.
