:welcometogttalk: wolf,
I changed it to say Wanted, also pulled you phone number. There are spambots that will harvest that info. Better to use the sites Private Message feature to exchange info like that.

Cool tractor, good luck

check with the site sponsors. I know bobs l&g has an FF for parts. thats where I got my steering parts.
That was a hell of a wreck, looks like it fell out of the truck.

I have a GTV 18 for sale for $200 runs and drives but I think the variator is stuck. I'm in NY don't know if you get up this way. I might be down south of Harrisburg some time this winter

The GTV and the FF are different animals. Until you see them side by side you don't realize how different they are.

The hood and dash might cross, but that is about it. I have never done any tire kicking on the GTV, but it looks like a Craftsman II in a fat suit ( not trying to offend anyone, just an observation)

GTV hood is narrower side to hide and thicker top to bottom. Larger gap between the lights. Dashes are different too.

Yeah, there are differences, but look similar. But, no where close to the later models.

After looking the pics over again, the fender pan may be the only thing that would swap out. I know the frame is different too.

Fender pans are different too. They are like my brother and I. I am 6'3" and 270 pounds. He is 5'6" and 150 pounds. We look alike but none of our parts interchange.

After a second look, I see it now. FF has an extra few inches between the headlights.

Sounds like me and my cousin. I am 6'6 , his dad is 6'8, he is 5'6. I tell him he is adopted... and thats when the fight started

Yep, the FF was designed to match John Deere's 318,>>>>>>>>>> how did that work out? :bigrofl:

P.S. The FF are great tractors to find, especially when a $eller doesn't know what they have,
