I was looking around CL this morning and found this not too far from work. Gave the guy a call and went to look at it at lunch. It ended up in my truck and back to work with me. It is a Feb. 1962 Cub 'O', the engine is free and compete, tires are shot, deck looks to be solid and complete. The BAD, is that the trans.shifter/cover plate has rust thru holes in it and the tranny had water in the bottom of it. I pulled the cover off and everything but the shifter forks are free and moving. Will have to pull it down and inspect/replace bearings anf gears that are bad. Gas tank even looks good inside as well as the sheet metal is straight and not badly rusted..

I thought it was worth $50.00..

Looks nice Brian. Not a bad way to spend fifty dollars. Good luck on the restoration.
