Steve (red-headed step child) was cruising CL and found this. It was originally listed 10-08. Called the guy, still has it. Motor has a rod through the side, but I'm going after it. Those back tires make it very worth while.

I'll have it home right after noon today!

Right on Kenny, those Ags are worth well more than the asking price alone. Cool!

Plus I have a tractor almost exactly like it parked in the corner of the yard. So I may get it going with parts from this one!

Awesome deal Kenny. So will there be a Caterpillar GT18 clone in Tulsa for me to worry about? LOL

Neat find Kenny, awesome deal.

I bet the deck is still in good shape too. Glad a scrapper didn't see the ad first.

Not sure yet Casey. May make a GT18 Grader like Gregs (Michiganmobileman) with dual driving rear axles. I have 2 6-speeds now and two frames!

The deck may fit Big Bertha, the frames are nearly the same as are the lifts. I couldn't believe someone hadn't snatched it up already!

Kenny, I too am jealous, I found one at scrap yard that looked repairable and now I will be lucky to save the engine, and the transaxle might be crunched up.. It sucks not having time to save it the first you see it... Glad you scored that one.

PICS! It's home. All four tires are about a year old. AG's are Tru-Power 23-10.50X12's. Right now around $140 EACH! I don't mind the hood ornament or seat cover it has. Battery is only about a year old too. Mower blades are nearly new, spindles turn freely. He said it runs on only one cylinder. LOL He took the piston and part of the rod out through the head. Can't see any obvious holes that shouldn't be in the block. This is the first Sears I have gotten that is more or less whole.

I think the AG's will find a home on the Ford! And may find a bit of WW fluid in them!

I'm a very HAPPY Camper right now!

So far I have downloaded the Tractor owners manual, the engine owners manual, engine parts list, and determined the engine was made Mar. 01,1988. So that makes this a possible late 88, early 89 tractor.
I forgot to add the PO said 2nd gear wasn't working, but the high/low was okay.
