The Martian Rover finds shining objects. Could it be bubble wrap? Plastic drink containers??? Inquiring minds want to know!

I'm betting it was something from one of the two failed missions from '98. Or something that fell to the planet from one of the delivery systems over the years.

Here is a breif list of the missions to date. http://historicspace...robes_Mars.html

It's all the Jesus clips I've lost over the years. I knew they went a long ways away, because I looked really hard to find them when they flew off.

Now that sounds like someone who shares the metal detecting hobby.

Ya beat me to it!:D I don't know why they are surprised at anything that gizmo finds. It's not like this extensive survey of the subsurface has been done before. Watch 'em holler when they find a statue of Orion the Hunter!
