BTW burning the wood reduces our oil dependency that will reduce oil prices. Thanks

He will sit there as long as the fire is going.. sadly in the winter that means he is lazy as its how i heat most of my house.. 5 to 7 full cords of wood a year..

I used to have Newfoundlands( goofy Newfies) that loved to fish. They'd wade into the pond belly deep and stand there for hours watching the fish. My wife would throw out bread crumbs to attract the fish. Once in awhile a dog would grab and eat a fish. It was funny to watch.

You're saving alot of money with the wood. A cord of dry hardwood in a good stove gives the same amout of heat as 200 gallons of #2 oil. Good Luck
