For all those folks out there that don't mind $5.00+ gas prices and diesel over $6... You may not drive a car or even know someone who does... But, EVERY THING you eat, wear, use or touch is price-linked to motor fuel. But of course YOU don't give a crap because YOU can afford to live in the city and use inexpensive mass transit (:D) or roller skate to work OR are have a very creative tax accountant.

Anybody in government that can't figger out high fuel prices aren't good for the nation's economy (or themselves in general) should not occupy any place in government or employed by it and should have their voting privileges revoked (you know, like "felons"!). That's how strongly I feel about putting unqualified people in any official position. An "official" or a "beaurocrat" should at the very least have some grasp of how business really works... from the bottom to the top.

Gas dropped $.07 here overnight. Is it linked directly to the election polls? I wonder.

It does make one wonder. Could it be based on one's perception of who came out ahead on the debates? And if so, Which direction?

(sigh) Sorry. I... I just have such a bad feeling about this thread! I just think I'm going to have to turn myself in to be banned..... before the Authorities send the Breakers out to pick me up. :watch_over_fence: Has anyone even seen Jersey Ken???

You don't have to worry Rich, you won't be banned here. I know the owner, and I'll put a good word in for you. PLUS they don't have hawks flying around 24/7 looking for the least out of place word or thing here. You might have GTtalk confused with another forum ??

I'm around btw, just busy with jobs spread all over the place.

It's just force of habit. I'll get over it eventually. It's actually pretty interesting that all of this political talk and no one is flaming yet.

Well, I don't think anyone bashed anyone, or got downright rude, which are great things and why I am enjoying it here.

Yesterday on AOL, it was stated that Saudi Arabia is no longer the #1 oil producer in the world. The USA has now become the leader. What do you think of that?

That is a great picture! Does he watch the flames for long?

BTW burning the wood reduces our oil dependency that will reduce oil prices. Thanks

 You will never see me Flaming anyone! This is a free country and everyone has a right to their opinions.
I just see it as unfortunate when someone does not agree with me, becuase I'm right and they are wrong. I can accept that.

Unleaded is $3.18.per gal at the Pilot Oil on I35/80 this morning.

This is a bit less optomistic but still very positive.

I believe "they" are already trying to shut down "fracking". That would be BAD.
