I just bought one of those from a guy local. It is actually just the frame, wheels, & gears/pulleys etc..... No engine or attachments. He had it on CL for $30. It looked cool so i offered him $10 & got it.

I never saw anything like that one before, and I don't think that is all original.

There was a model A780-01 Rotary Drive Unit for the Power-Ho's. ....It used an A408-01 Rotor Blade for weeds or an A650 Saw Blade.

The front part is assembled on the wrong side of the square tube, and it should be forward of the tab welded to the square tube.

I think the upright with the two pulleys (mounted between the hitch and the spindle) was added to allow the belt to clear the engine (because it was assembled differently) and to possibly provide a clutching mechanism, as the original attachment was direct-drive, and rotated whenever the engine was running.
