I have always wanted a Gerber 600. Years ago a friend had one and i was constantly asking to use it. I refuse to pay over $100 for a multi tool i know i'll abuse. I instead continued to buy cheaper ones. Well i seen a 600 on ebay and the highest bid was $29.00 with a few minutes to go. I typed in $31.00 & waited. When the clock reached 4 seconds i hit enter hopein no one would be able to outbid me. I swooped right in and snagged it and paid $1.75 shipping. I am now the proud owner of a Gerber 600 that arrived today. Maybe a lil over excited but with kids....buying the "good" version of something for yourself isn't always feasible.....20121017_205509.jpg

Nice score. I really like the Gerber multitools. I was given one a couple years ago and I love it.

One of the fellows I worked with a few years back had a similar tool. I don't know if it was the same thing, but I think you made a very good buy. You also did very well on the shipping charges. Hope you enjoy your new tool.

I carried my "Goober tool" for many years while working. Our plant covered acres and it saved me many miles of walking. They are a very solid and reliable tool. Don't forget that they are Made in America and carry a life time guaranty. They are very good to honor it also.

Those are very nice tools! eBay is always a great place to get knives. There are tons of good quality knives for a fraction of the price there.
