Real or not, local folk lore is always interesting. Which reminds me I should ask my grandaughter if kids in High School still talk about "The Mud Man from Metz".

Anyone ever watch "Lost Tapes" on Animal Planet. I watched a few when I was bored. Yeeeesh, scary but pretty interesting. Good read, while I don't believe in this stuff, watching and reading about it is always interesting.

I enjoy Monster Quest and Ghost Hunters, but right now, I'd be happy to solve the mystery of my missing GTTalk hat.

Pure memphremagoggery!:D

"I didn't see it and I'm not sure what you saw is really what you say you saw so I say you didn't see anything but something seen in your own mind like a hallucination in a mirror reversed."

There, that should take care of ghosts, UFO's, Bigfoot, voices in my head and Cryptozoology once and for all!

I think if you start checking into these stories you will find there are dozens of lakes that claim to have some sort of serpent living in their depths. Makes for interesting talk over a cup of coffee and unless you can prove these stories to be false they make for good conversation.

Two things are true about crypto creatures of any kind. One, people ARE encountering "something" and in many cases something they will never talk about. And two, science won't ever admit even a smidgen of acceptance without a dead carcass (probably 10 carcasses). This fact is not lost on the crypto-species and they know how to avoid becoming "proof". THAT is the most interesting thing about all the unknown phenomena, HOW they/it avoid understanding.
