Scrapped the tin, going to wait for a chunk of expanded metal to come along to cover it with.

 

No pics today, only video: (I need more light when I do a video, my apologies. I'm not going outside to do it today, it's still 5 below)

Final coat of paint went on the Sweepster frame this morning, re-assemble in the morning.

Sweepster is done and put away. I repainted the plastic hood, also.

Use the livin' crap out of it. I de-thatch the whole yard with it. 2.5 acres.

After hemming and hawing for a long time, I finally gave in and ordered a hitch for the Bolens.

You cannot have the three point on the tractor and run the rear tires in the narrow configuration at the same time. No biggie, the only time I run it narrow is when I have the snowblower on. I have no plans to run a rear blade in the winter.

Awesome tractor! I bought one last year with 2 tillers, extra set of tires, a sickle mower, flail mower and snow blower for only $1500! Where did you buy your three point hitch? I'm in need of one with short arms like that.

 Where did you buy your three point hitch? I'm in need of one with short arms like that.

 

Ebay. Seller name was neat-usa, complete 3 point was $189. I see the only new hitch kit on there right now is much more expensive.
