We have a wisconsin VH4D in our farmall and we just changed the oil. We put 3 1/2 quarts of 10w-30 deturgent motor oil in it. and now when we run it oil shoots out of the breather/ oil fill. any ideas

Sounds like too much oil in the engine............
Is this the same amount of oil you always put in after an oil change?
Are you sure all the old oil was drained before putting in new oil?

Specs call for 3 1/2 qts, and another pint in the oil filter.

Check the oil level for the heck of it then look down the fill tube to see if there is anything, like a small piece of rag in the oil. Is there another breather? Good Luck.

well now its out of oil. all ran out for breather. the breather is on the fill tube. and nothings in the oil.
