For the past few months I keep getting 1 or 2 Junk Emails daily, they come from different party's but they all basically say the same thing looking for me to respond with my personal info.

Do any of you guys get stuff like this sent to you?

My Beloved!

Peace be Upon You
I am glad to know you, but God knows you better and he knows why he has directed me to you at this point in time so do not be afraid.

I am Mrs Hisham Latifa, and i have been suffering from ovarian cancer disease and the doctor says that i have just short time to leave. I am from (Paris) France but based in Africa Burkina Faso since eight years ago as a business woman dealing with gold exportation.

Now that i am about to end the race like this, without any family members and no child. I have $3 Million US DOLLARS in Africa Development Bank (ADB) Burkina Faso which i instructed the bank to give (St Andrews Missionary Home) in Burkina Faso. But my mind is not at rest because i am writing this letter now through the help of my computer beside my sick bed.

I also have (€4.5 Euros) at United Global Security Company (UGSC) here in Burkina Faso and i instructed the Company to release the boxes to the first foreigner that will apply to the Company after i have gone that they should release the boxes to him/her, but you will assure me that you will take 50% of the money and give 50% to the orphanages home in your country for my heart to rest with GOD.

As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Company in Burkina Faso if you can do this kindly return back to me immediately before death cross my way so that i will send to you a copy of my international passport which you will show to the Company to make the Company know that i instructed you to contact them for the release of my fund to you, so that you can fulfill my dream of building an orphanage home in your country,If you are interested to help kindly respond back to me.

Yours Dieing Sister

I think Sherwood is feeling a little left out. See if you can get the sender to add him to their mailing list. He should be feeling much better in just a short time.

No, not like that Doug. My normally foolproof Verizon FIOS has been letting spam emails in for about a month or two. I just mark them as spam and move on. I don't open any I don't know about. Just trash them.

I am pretty trigger happy with my delete button. Anything that even looks suspicious is gone before I even am tempted to open.

Oh ya, we have gotten a lot of those in the past! I remember one was from a lady who's husband died and she needed some money! We just delete them.

I have probably lost millions of dollars because I didn't read some of the E-mails I have received over the years....
If I don't know the sender, it gets trashed! We also have our "spammer" pretty tight too, and a lot of E-mails that we get that are legit end up there too....Oh well gotta' take the good with the bad...or bad with the good, how-ever you look at it!

Like others if I don't know the sender and I'm not expecting an email (say from a company I've ordered from) the are marked spam and sent to cyber heaven. I do look in my spam folder before pushing the genocide button to make sure an email from someone I do know didn't get put in there (this has happen before).

Years ago when I used an email client for my personal account, I created a yahoo account just for using on the web for registrations, order forms etc. That way Yahoo's hard drive would get loaded up and my local drive would get hit. Today I use Gmail as my personal account and I still use Yahoo for the web and it is amazing the difference in spam between the two. I occasionally get spam in my gmail account but Yahoo get's filled up quite regularly.

That's just plain heartless! Think of the situation she must be in!

:D
