The 314 sold today... and is being picked up Monday. There is now room for this one in the garage.

What types of differences besides tag and steering wheel are visible?
The fender pan is smooth on the vertical sides, going from the footrest area up to the bottom of the pedestal, where as the later model flat fenders have the wrinkles. I only found out this information recently from my good friend Mark (MAV). I never realized it until he pointed it out to me.

Hey Troy
I am not sure if all the sidetag models had the smooth fender pan. Just some of the first ones did from my understanding. I kind of wonder how many sidetags where produced . Also there are sidetag model 140's.

Mark, IIRC the tag location changed somewhere around the 104,000 to 104,500 serial number range.

Not giving up on this either. I hope to have it next week along with parts to put it back together.

Another update... the person with the 110 wants to move it so I will pick it up after I get back from Iowa. I am sure the wife will be thrilled but a mansgottadowattamansgottado.

Troy, My 68 110 has the wrinkles in the fender pan, has it been changed or is it a late 68 side tag.

Got more scoop on the 110 today.
First off - I have been here 4 years and I know it has been sitting there at least 2 years as you see it in the pics.
It was a complete tractor stored inside that ran when parked. The shop owner picked it up for parts. Knowing that a good hood is valuable, he pulled the hood support, grill and hood off and put it in storage in the back room of the shop. They are in GREAT condition. As you can tell, it is missing one spindle and tire but the rest seems complete. My eyes see those late RF parts hiding around the tractor. The original steering wheel and the center cap is still there. There is a sticker from Tri-Co Implement which was the dealer in town that left about 10 years ago. Original rear tires have great tread. The fender pan looks like it will clean right up with the wire wheel. I need a seat pan but have a late 112 that is missing a transaxle to help save the 110. The remaining 112 parts will be sold to fund the 110. His requests of me - take pics of the finished product and show them to him. He also asked if I stick it in a parade that I display a sign for his business. I think those requests are fair.
Pics as I promised:
These pics show the area in question. I cannot wait to get this one home.

Paid for it today and I will get it next week. I picked up the hood while there and you can see the 4-legged Deere on the hood insert. I don't think I can save it but I think I can save the hood. I will probably replace the tires while I am at it. Thinking some Carlisle Turf Masters all around.

I will have it in my possession tomorrow and get a list for you. Looks like you and I will finally touch base after my move to Cedar Rapids is complete. Life has been CHAOS for the last month! Looks like the move will be this coming Friday. Not sure if the 110 will go right away or be stored for pickup next month.
