Is it a hoot you can list a softball on the list and the scams start rolling in?

The major downside to Craigslist. You have to love the hot women who happen to see your ad, and reply that they think they know you and would like to "meet up". Lol

I often get those replies when I list something in the materials section.

I did find however, if you add this to your ad, that it helps deter some attempted scams.

"Scammers, please don't waste your time or mine with your BS emails"

I've done more than one "April's Fool" on scammers. It can be fun.

any ideas I like to have fun, the best scam was one where that sent me pictures and offered the price with shipping the FedEx and UPS for 500 for a tractor

I keep all the spammer's email addresses in a group, when I get a new one, I forward the email to the rest of them.
There are a few websites where you can sign up for junk mail. I usually sign the "new members" up for some free info.
