And I have movement! That damaged side looks rough. I have a long thin knife in there and turning the driveshaft at the same time, it's slowly moving. Feels like it's been like that for a long time, or just sitting for a long time. Either way, progress!

Peter, can you get it to move at all? If it is, then maybe by driving it will free up more like Daniel said.

I can, it moves a little bit. I'll give it a drive around tomorrow :) I need to get tire chains for this too.

If you have any good grades around you, run it up and down working the clutch pedal as you go.

I was wondering what was going on, hoping he was ok. I have his tractors here, and am trying to set up a date and time for him to come get them when I will be in town this month. Snow's on the ground now, I hope he brings a good winch! :)

My 12 is being a pain. I got the clutch disc to move freely from the plate, I went to start it and then it wouldn't start. The starter was making a screeching noise. I got it to turn over and run, and it was burning oil like crazy. And the best part of all, still not shifting. That clutch is NOT wanting to separate. One of the tires went flat and I walked away. It's 28 outside right now, tomorrows high is supposed to be 56. After 7am mass, I figure the weather will be right to get working on her again.

Thankfully my D4-7 with the snowblower is ready to rock if we get hit with some snow.

Haven't done much on the D4-12, I have had some issues with extended family and a very big job in our shop that needs to ship before the first of the year.

I did snag a D4-10 the other day, now I have another one to get home from out of state. I will start a thread about it when I get it home.

I do fire up the 12 and drive it around once a week just because I love how fast it is.
