I've never used Bamboo but love fly fishing. I've read a bit about making bamboo rods and a little like Blacksmithing it is pretty much a lost art.
So much has been forgotten about the craft that will never be known.

I've always wanted a bamboo, but never had one! Used to make my own fiberglass & then graphite rods & tied a lot of flies & bugs, but don't even fish a lot anymore. ~~ Lowell

The only fishing i ever did and enjoyed was when i was young. Dad would take me to the Rio Grand river in south Texas.. Well those days are long gone. For some reason i cannot explain i have always liked the look of bamboo rods, always wanted one for the "man cave" wall. But it's just one more "thing" that if your not using it why spend on it.

Did you happen to get a picture of em Rich? how about cost?

My friend's brother makes them. Very nice! They start at $250.
