any idea on the hours? the front end is busted but that won't hurt the function. I'm still holding out for a 782D...

The seller just let Fred know that he wasn't interested in Fred's trades, so I texted him, and I'm supposed to call him later this evening about my coming tomorrow. I just hope he isn't getting higher offers & I lose out on it! I can't go very high, and have to borrow this money as it is.

I hope you can work something out Daniel. It sounds like too good a deal to let go.

But how will I deal with all the green here at my place once people begin to talk? :bigrofl: At first I thought of dressing her up to sell & make a profit, but I've always had 2 hard/fast rules here: 1: NO AG tires leave the place 2: NO diesels leave the place.
I have to admit, these 430's are simply an awesome tractor, so it will likely keep a permanent place here....but something will have to go to pay the 430 off. I think a couple gassers will be going down the road if I can sell them. Just can't see parting with the 430 once it gets here.
And it's got only 800+ hours on it if I understood right.

The seller works at a John Deere dealership. He intended to restore it, but said he'll never have the time, and could use the cash. He's owned it a year, and only issue was the kill solenoid had to be replaced. Otherwise it runs like a top. I am stoked about this purchase, but I won't feel at ease about it till it hits Ball Hollow soil!

Congrats on the purchase! I have always heard the 430 was on of the best to own! Yanmar diesel, power steering, etc!
Will feel better once you have it home and pictures posted!

Make sure Teresa has the camera ready when you drive it off the trailer.
