Currently I am working on the plow for my Ford LGT145,, and intend on mounting a blower on the 448 Ingersoll. So I would be ready for either a light snowfall or a winter blizzard. Oct is the time to begin. Anyone else with me?

Got the snowblower ready for my john deere, and the snowblade hooks up pretty quick on the massey. It is a 5o? inch ingersol snowblade. We won't see snow (measurable) until late november maybe, but usually not until december or january.

I am racing against time to get Wally to the point where I can put the #42 blade on him so that LittleTractor doesn't have to run a blade this winter... Trying to save his transaxle the extra bumps and jolts because its starting to do some funky things now and again... Expecting snow any time now, temps are down to -6 C (22 F) tonight...

Ya, I still have to get some weights and chains for both...I'll probably 'end up' making some' and I'll probably end up buying some chains...

We dont want to think about winter yet! lol but were getting ready to put a plow on the supercub soon and put another plow on the 149. Snowblowers arnt much fun to have unless you have mad amounts of snow and lately we havent much snow fall the past 2 years as far as I remember. I also got a new toy to play with in the snow and ill let the wheelhorse see his first snow this year hopefully. So yes i'd say im prepared lol

Shoot, I'm still trying to fit a plow on the back for Daniels plow day. Besides the snow blade I agreed to buy is sorta, well a little bit on the way to Daniels. Well it is in KY too (just an hour or so out n back) :laughingteeth:

No! Its much too soon for that. I have too may project to finish before winter. Though it. suppose to be 32 tonight.
And they got snow in Minnesota today about 150 miles north of the state line?

Well JD...150 isn't really that far, not sure how much you got last year but around here we only got a splattering...I am thinking we are due for a humdinger...I wouldn't wait to long...hopefully we all get to use our beloved tractors for some 'winter fun' this year...

I have my golf car, put my plow on that. I was planning on getting my bush hog D4-12 running in time, going to be a gamble as the wiring needs to be redone.

Between my golf car, and snow blower, I hope to be ready. I'll find out I guess.

I have two 'winter tractors' that are pretty much ready to go.

First is a Bolens G11 with a snowcaster mounted on it. It has chains and wheel weights and can go as is. I am going to see if I can cobble together a cab for it.

The other is a Bolens HT20D with the hydraulic angle blade. It has CaCl filled turf tires on it and I have a pair of chains and wheel weights I need to get on it. I'm talking with a guy I met at the Wellington, OH show that has a large frame cab. It's in the loft of a shed and he needs to get to it. Hopefully he will do that before the snow flies.

I'll have my blade ready for the Ford. Don't usually get a lot here, but you never know!

Got our first snow yesterday and there'll be more today. By Saturday it'll all be gone so I can clean up leaves.

I've already got the rear blade on the 420 though, so I'm ready for winter.
