I am just about done with my 1614 W/ FEL and i am down to fluids. I have atf available to me at no cost and i heard of people using this for tjeir hydraulics. Would it hurt anything for me to use this?

I don't see why you couldn't . We've used Dextron at work years ago but switched to a different hydraulic fluid green colored Castrol Aerial Lift , I don't see any difference . When we get hydraulic tools that get connected to the trucks a lot come with a " red" fluid in them guessing it transmission fluid the little fluid in the tool just gets mixed with the new fluid , Al
