Yes this is a CL ad, but I'm interested if this thing is for real. It looks like a hybrid between a Model 80 bed and a newer frame and tongue with a decal that says 8HD. Did Deere really make this model, or is it a home made special? If real it could be a bargain except for the serious rust through in the rear of the bed.

That is the real thing... the 10 cart replaced it. The 8HD is essentially an 80 cart with some minor changes and different decals. Even with a bad gate that is a bargain that I would drive several hours to pick up.

That is the real deal. Don't find many of them around much anymore. You'll find more of the standard 80 carts than you will these.

Yeah, I'd never even heard of that model. Got an email from the seller. He just sold it tonight. Just as well, that one is going to need some serious work.

The 8HD was only made for a short period of time, I think 1 or 2 years! Making it a fairly uncommon item.

Basically, an 80 box on a 10 frame with bigger tires than the 10. ~~ Lowell

The 8HD was only a couple hours away, my nephew picked it up for me until I could get it from him. ~~ Lowell
