Just got this one last night. It's got axles, the tranny and frame but nothing else. Just need everything else, which I will be getting in a few more nights. Anyone want to take a crack at guessing the model number? This is the third one I've owned of this model.

I'm going to guess, and say it's a 314 frame.

I know about as much on the greenies as I do on the MTDs. My guess is a 400

Frame color is a big clue unless it has been repainted. Plastic fan is another big clue.

Green frame = Flat fender 110/112/120/140 - definitely NOT a 120/140
Black Frame = 200/300/400 series - Don't think it is any of those

My guess = 325/345 or something later than that.

Going by the hydro fan orientation, it's not a 100, 200, or 300 series, as it appears to be a vertical engine model. Nice job throwing us off with the wood hiding the crank/pulley hole....right? Not being up on JD models, I have no guess though.

One of the newer LX, GT or GX series tractors would be my guess. Not one of the older hor. engine models. Looking at the blurry view of the trans I'm going to say LX or GT series. I think the frames were the same on them.

Winner Winner! It's gonna be a 345 when it's finished.
