I got a Sickle Mower for my 3012. I think its from a Round hood but I got it to work!

its a 4 foot cut. The Swath board keeps all the cutting in a wind row. Farm tractors with sickle mowers had it so it was easier to rake hay. Thats theory you really dont need it. Alot of em had it taken off.

It is a good looking unit. I thought it was a five foot too. I think it's that pictures that make it look so big. Congrats on a nice tractor.
