How many people use them? I do from time to time. Looks big next to a GT doesn't it? It will be winterized on Tuesday.

Just built my own this year to harvest yard waste and leaves. I think they are a great unit to harvest plow down for the garden.

I recently bought a WH brand one near my MIL & FIL place in N.C.. Going to pick it up around Christmas, but have wanted one for a long time. I'm hoping to harvest Pecans with mine holding the pickup tube off the side of the tractor, I think it will work fine for that also.

Mine is Canvas top, not metal.

It worked great for garden waist. I've never messed with one. Mine is all metal. When fully loaded the GTs won't pull it up my yard. Loses traction and spins the tires.

Is that an Allis Chalmers 410 or a 416?

I got a vac unit when I bought my Homelite, just need to get the cart done. Finding one (1972) is near impossible, so I'm building one.

After watching that video, I'm impressed. That thing really sucks. Looks like it could suck a golf ball through a 50 foot garden hose.

Yeah, golf balls wouldn't even faze it.

My neighbor has a walnut tree and it makes short work of the ones that drop.

Makes one heck of a clang when they hit the impeller...but it's made from 3/16" steel, and is pretty stout.

It's a 410.

It's funny... There is no market for these any more except with people like us. My trac vac was mint when I bought it last year. I got it for 200$. The seller said he couldn't get rid of it for what he thought it was worth. He was asking 400$ in his ad.

This is what I need! I spend hours cleaning up leaves in the Fall. Will one work on any tractor or do you need one specific to your brand of tractor?

It depends. Mine is universal. Hooks up like a wagon. I wish I had a lot of leaves so I could use it to the fullest lol
