My fiance ask me to pick up the yard when she moved in. I dont mind because she keeps the inside cleaner than it ever was with just me. She also makes me go outside when she cleans. ^_^ any ways ive decided to get all my junk up abs have succeed nicely. I'm on to the maintenance stuff like driveways and firewood. I got done with the driveway above my son wanted to drive. He takes off and I start splitting. Around the house he comes, he picked up my soon to be grandbaby along the way lol. My wood was a hair to big for my stove so I started splitting it. I love a good workout.

I have to comment on the old horse drawn dirt scoop on the wall. It brings to mind the basement on the house where Ma lives on the farm. It is an old house that the basement was done in the 30's? (This is a homestead that has been in the family over 100 years) They used one of those to dig that out with an F12? That was excavation equipment then. Just an observation. Lots of sweat equity there.

Its a heavy sucker...hard to lift that high by myself. I couldnt imagine using one. Well having to use one, Ive used it to see how well it worked and as you said it was slow.

I love a productive day. Nothing like looking at it and seeing what you did at the end of the day.

Nice clean up.. It looks like run off off the roof will land on top of your fire wood... Do you have a tarp for that?

That's the pile waiting to split. Is already been moved. I don't tarp my wood. It's for the shop.
