Would anyone happen to have one handy? Or a photo of a model with a Tecumseh engine setup for my D4-12? I'd love to get her up and running today. Thanks!

Titus what pictures would you need? My crusty D4-10 has a 10hp Tecumseh......wiring I would think would be the same.

Mostly under the hood. Battery to solenoid, behind the dash so to speak. It's a rats nest of wiring and I'm not familiar with these engines. I dont want to hook up something wrong.

Maybe this will help. Looks like this one has a few wires that were tampered with.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348960074.520056.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348960090.103869.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348960133.873001.jpg

Looking them , I doubt this will help.

It's ok. I would need to see how the battery is hooked up, solenoid set up, etc.

Is this a starter generator unit or bendix type starter on the Teccy?

I could maybe shoot some pics of Teccy wiring, but sadly can be no help on BH wiring.

My D4-10 has a Wisconsin in it. I don't think those pics would help but if you think they will I can get some pics of it later today.

I was thinking we had a wiring diagram in the manuals section but I could be wrong.

The manuals do have a simple diagram.

Yes they do, but none that I saw show a set up with a solenoid. All from what I saw are the wisconsin set ups.

Looking at that diagram, I grounded everything and tightened what I found that needed to be tightened....guess what? TURNS OVER! Great night :) Tomorrow, going to see if I can get her to fire up.

I shouldn't say grounded EVERYTHING, just what needed to be grounded.
